I don´t know if the folks at Dennis Kirk didn´t understand me when I said “everything is secondary to getting my part by Monday”, or if they shipped it as fast as they could but, when I first talked with them they told me Guatemala is a two day delivery point. When they sent me my tracking number, it says that my clutch won’t arrive till the 16th… Anyone have any pull with FedEx?

Dan,
I’ll talk to the FedEx person our office deals with. I guess it can’t hurt.
We are proud of you guys. Think of this as a Class V bike ride. You did the Class II/III easy stuff. Now is the time to show them what you got.
Good luck and be safe,
Mike
I’ll keep tracking you on SPOT maybe you’ll end up somewhere really cool!
Just kidding.

Dan,
Looks like it’s at the station. I read it to Hillzy, he said that being it has the 16th listed as a delivery date, they don’t send it out once the courier has left the station for the day. Looks like you should get it tomorrow. I text’d him the number he’ll look it up when he gets to work tomorrow.
You’re doing so great. I love the write ups.

Dan,
Pegge says that the FedEX logs have comments about the package that they have been trying to contact the recipient to pay duties and taxes Q318.60. I don’t know what number they are trying to use. But Pegge is trying to get their phone number and address in Guatemala for you to contact them and pay these taxes to get it released. OK, here is her message:
Try the customer may call #, 1, 801 00FEDEX, she said she doesn’t know where that number is location (maybe the states), but the local location # is 502-2268-4302. The address is:
Avendia El Ferrocarril
19-97 Guatemala City
Zona 12
Building name: Empresarial El Cortijo
Property Location: warehouse 806
directions:
Take Atanasio Tzul to 19th St., turn Rt. to enter Empressarial El Cortijo, drive to end of Street and turn left. Go to end and make another left. They’re open 9-6PM.
Good luck!

Dan,
You need to call Wilson Galicia, he is the agent that will be delivering your package. Phone number is 502 5536 5548. You can also call 502 2268 4302 for the Guatemala City FedEx office as Janet said above. They were very nice and the English was exceptional:)
Drop me an email if you need any further help.

Pegge called last night, she said it looked like the supplier was going to pay the taxes and FedEX was going to try to deliver it today.
